Hillbilly, saw you got some fender flares for it on another forum. Where did you get them from? They look like the fit really well.

funny to run into anyone from there over here...
Wheels are what I could afford @ the time. Steelies can be cool and I love 'em, but I'm thinking a/b a slight upgrade to something shiny:

but ultimate goal is Keystone Klassics:

have to get a shorter rear end though to get the Klassics +big meats under the fenders (w/ good offset).

for those talking a/b major drops on stangs: it's possible, I can get a/b another 1" lower in the front ( for a/b 3" total -might be able to tuck the front tires) when I get rid of my cats and lose the giant mufflers for something sleeker/smaller (street rod-style mufflers) that will tuck in closer to the driveshaft.
Can't really get much lower in the rear, w/ my "poke", but the nose will be right @ 2.5-3" off the ground.

Hillbilly, nice setup. Makes me think of the old Trans Am series cars.

Thanks for the help...I'd like to run 18x10's all around on mine or a staggered set of 19's. 19x9.5 in the front and 19x10.5 in the rear. Offsets and tires are my only concern. Its hard pushing the limits of a chasis that no one else uses to go low on. I guess I'll figure it out as I go. Thats half the fun.

    Front:
Tires are 215/60-15s on 15x7 wheels w/ 4.25" backspacing (dunno what offset that comes to, but it's the greatest positive offset I could get to maximize the lip difference front/rear).

    Rear:
Tires are 295/50-15s on 15x8s w/ 4" backspacing (think this comes to like -12 offset).

15x10 would've given more lip for rear, but the 295s wouldn't have the big bulge and that's what I was trying to get.

As has been said earlier: these cars have their own heritage. Might be hard to see over all the swagger, but my styling was inspired a lot by the stance scene.
Here you can see how low the exhaust hangs.

When I swap to a cat-less h pipe, shorty headers and glasspacks (because they're slim and have round bodies to tuck into the trans tunnel better -plus I'll get a real old-school nascar sound to go w/ the wheels) I can get a/b 1/2" - 2/3" lower.
