2. congress didnt support bombing
3. the president waited as long as he could without looking like a war crazed bush monger before suggesting bombing
4.the prez asked congress before moving, although to be fair he could of bombed anyways
5. the prez got exactly what he has said hes wanted since he took office, which was to have the international community that is the UN to step up and show some leadership in these situations, becuase america is fucking sick of always being the world police.

so depsite the spin fox news put on it, we got exactly what we wanted.

It is very hard to fix Syria problems by bombing it, look what is now of Libya, rebels storm a hotel and they kidnap a prime minister, this is something serious, the country may end up the Somali way where warlords rule the country.

Even if America intervenes and helps the rebels topple the government, after taking power, the rebels will not be grateful, they will start now rebelling against America the same country that put them in power like what happened in Libya, so the best thing is to ignore what is happening and let things sort them selves out.
