Even if America intervenes and helps the rebels topple the government, after taking power, the rebels will not be grateful, they will start now rebelling against America the same country that put them in power like what happened in Libya, so the best thing is to ignore what is happening and let things sort them selves out.
It is very hard to fix Syria problems by bombing it, look what is now of Libya, rebels storm a hotel and they kidnap a prime minister, this is something serious, the country may end up the Somali way where warlords rule the country.
yeah because public opinion is always right. it's not like we've had to have the government step in to give civil rights to certain groups of people despite public outcry.
What I find even funnier than the meme's is the fact that all you people:
1. Know the system is fucked
2. Know the system fucks you
3. Should know that when/if people came together we are the biggest threat to the broken system
Yet every one of you just simply rolls over and lets them fuck you in the arse. It's real sad.
not everyone, just the teenage/early 20's guys. its a phase that most go thru. and i guess some never really grow out of. i was like that in my 20's.
Detroit is fucked. Soon that will be america. If we dont stop the downward spiral the liberal demographics will take over and we will become a 3rd world country.
this is as hypocritcal as it gets. stop and think about what you just said. also liberal's have taken over and will continue to, especially with the hispanic population on the rise
hindsight being 50/50 and all, heres a few points fer ya
1. large majority of americans didnt want to got to war
2. congress didnt support bombing
3. the president waited as long as he could without looking like a war crazed bush monger before suggesting bombing
4.the prez asked congress before moving, although to be fair he could of bombed anyways
5. the prez got exactly what he has said hes wanted since he took office, which was to have the international community that is the UN to step up and show some leadership in these situations, becuase america is fucking sick of always being the world police.
so depsite the spin fox news put on it, we got exactly what we wanted.
also mccain is a fucking retard and needs to be put down like the useless dog he is

Slacktivism (sometimes slactivism or slackervism) is a portmanteau of the words slacker and activism. The word is usually considered a pejorative term that describes "feel-good" measures, in support of an issue or social cause, that have little or no practical effect other than to make the person doing it take satisfaction from the feeling they have contributed. The acts tend to require minimal personal effort from the slacktivist. The underlying assumption being promoted by the term is that these low cost efforts substitute for more substantive actions rather than supplementing them, although this assumption has not been borne out by research.[1]
Slacktivist activities include signing Internet petitions,[2] joining a community organization without contributing to the organization's efforts, copying and pasting of social network statuses or messages or altering one's personal data or avatar on social network services. Research is beginning to explore the connection between the concept and modern activism/advocacy, as groups are increasingly using social media to facilitate civic engagement and collective action.[3]
The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS describes the term "slacktivist", saying it "posits that people who support a cause by performing simple measures are not truly engaged or devoted to making a change".[4]
