Thanks dude. I'm working on a '78 CB750 now. The bike is stripped completely down to the frame. Going to start welding it up next week so I can get it back together in the next month or two.
Updated photo of the Bobber. Powdercoated the tank, fender, and wheels Oyster White. Shortened clip-ons, fender struts, metal throttle tube, relocated wiring, shaved and painted forks, and some other random shit.
my background is motocross, got quite a few bikes, but here is my street bike 06 SV650. Put the GSXR front end on it this summer, running 1 1/8" tag dirtbike bars and a roland sands top clamp. Still not done, needs a shock, paint, exhaust etc...
If I had a 1000 I would have to lower and extend it or i'd kill myself. Your's looks sick and I can definitely understand why you did it. All that shit's gonna catch up to us one day lol
Quit ***** josh! Hahaha. I only stretched the R1 because my self control sucks ass and after 3 years of getting lucky not getting caught doing 100+mph stand ups and long stoppies on the street, i had to do something to stop myself. And I actually do love the way it looks now.
Sick bikes man. I love that bobber. I just sold my honda magna that I was going to hack up and picked up a motor off a fat boy to build a frame around.
Thanks man. That sounds like a fun project. Post some photos when you get started.
