so im building a laptop on hp's website and i dont really know much about computers lol. they give me these 5 options for the memory:
2GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
3GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
4GB DDR3 System Memory (1 Dimm)
6GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
4GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)

which one should i pick? and whats the difference between them?

2 dimm means two modules of memory. laptops usually have only 2 slots. that being the case, choose the amount of memory you want. id say 1 dimm 4GB because you have one slot left over to upgrade later. add another 4GB later and you have 8GB maxed out on the board.
