Oil pump is prone to failure, rod bolts go when you go for more power and higher revs.
Rod bolts aren't too bad when the motor is on a stand, by friend did all of his in about 2 hours with a learning curve, bet he could do them now in about half that.
Oil pump wasn't too bad from what I saw, again on a stand it would only take about 1-2 hours.

eh, Friends shop car made 805WHP with a Stock bottom end LS1, Only thing touched were ported LS2 heads and some kind of intake manifold. It was boosted and put into a saturn sky, Remote mounted too.
