I liked "When Life Gives You Lemons," if only for "Guarantees." Yeah, it's kinda trite at this point, but it's got some heavy shit in the lyrics, you can tell he's trying to do something with his rhymes, not just rap about "money, hos, and rims again." (quote attributed to Kanye West)

I loved his first three albums. I haven't heard the new one yet, which makes me a heretic, but I will get it with this Best Buy gift card I've had since Christmas. I literally don't buy music unless I'm supporting non-millionaire artists, so Slug deserves my dollars.

I agree. Family Sign brings him back more to old stuff, but keeps the same heavy hitting stuff he's been doing lately.
