Few things come to mind, crankcase vent, valve cover gasket, oil sending unit, head gasket (worst case scenario).

I've never looked under he hood of a Bimmer, so I'm not sure of the wichedry going on under there. Those would be my first suspects though.

I been thinking about it for last 2 hours and I think its my ccv. About a month ago I replaced: valve cover gasket, vanos oil line, oil filter housing gasket, dipstick O ring. At that time I also checked all of the sensors on the block.

At this point my best guess is CCV or head gasket (I am fucked if it is my head gasket).
I am going to fix it regurdless of what it is, even if I deside to sell my car.
Just really dont feel like taking the head off, but if thats what it takes then be so...

Like I said though, those are a generic list of things that could go wrong, but by the sounds of it I think you have it narrowed down. Good Luck. It would be a bitch if its a head gasket though.

I'd rather people not know I have knowledge about cars. Any time I have ever been introduced to someone and I tell them I am a car guy, I get this scenario:

"Oh, so you know about cars, well, sometimes my car will do this and make this noise, but it doesn't do it all the time, sometimes it wont do it for a while, but then it will do it a lot..." "You think you know what it is???"
