I fully understand the benefits of doing a V8 swap, plenty of power for relatively cheap. I just think that they shouldm't be taking over everything, Formula Drift for example.

Yeah on a competitive level it sucks, I've heard rumors that they may ban non make motors. Like if you have a nissan then you can use and nissan motor but only motors from nissan.

yeah, after the NJ event, didn't they try to start up a new ruling not allowing ls1 swaps into anything besides another chevy? i thought i heard about it since like 7 of 8 cars in the top 8 were LS something powered
