Truth be told I've never ridden in a Honda with VTEC.

You aren't missing much besides the sound and a faint jerk forward.
But the sound high-revving built N/A Honda motors make is just... awesome.

Not sure if this was a Vtec ricer, but on the way to BWW last night there was this CRX that we caught up to in the other lane a few mph faster and I hear his exhaust as he downshifted to get ready. I got behind him and then got beside him... made him downshift a few more times haha.

Fuckin' riceburners.

Don't blame the car, Hondas are notoriously torqueless wonders. I've had to go from 5th to 3rd more than once in my Prelude to get a really good jump on some traffic.

There's a guy up here with a MK5 on CCW classics that the centers are copper coated. Those are about the best CCW's I've seen yet.
