Yeah I am lucky. I'm not sure what happened though, I replaced every bit of hose and clamp in the fuel system when I bought the car. Should be a fairly easy swap, I just need to make sure everything will fit under the hood.

That sucks, at least fuel fires are not too bad if you put them out quick since it is the vapors that burn.

Friend had a fuel fire on the track and nothing in the engine bay got damaged even though the flames look pretty bad.

Yeah pretty damn big, I'm more concerned about the transmission. I'd have to run a GM transmission and I'm not sure it would fit in the tunnel without cutting stuff apart.
