Negative. Geting STANCE SS coils from my buddy at Touge Factory. Since they're the US distributor for STANCE, I'll be getting a $1235 MSRP setup for $864.50 out the door, tax-free (since the purchase is technically B2B).

I'm so excited for coilovers, it's not even funny. Dear tax return, show the fuck up today.

I plan on running with maybe a 1" gap between tire and fender. Adaptec already said they'd hook me up with free spacers, so I'll probably do an OEM+ flush look with my stock wheels, since I can't afford any set that I'd want at this moment.

Considering Regamaster EVOs, Work Emotion CR-KAIs, or Sprint Hart CP-Rs in a 17x9 square setup. Maybe 17x8 + 17x9 reverse FF stagger, just to piss a whole lot of people off.

It helps that I live 20 minutes from their main warehouse and distribution center. If I have any warranty concerns, I can pick up parts or coils without having to wait for shipping.

Considering it. I have to see how my car will fare on the pothole-laden Chicago roads first. I don't want to smash in my oil pan and have to spend a ballston of cash on a tow truck 45 miles to FMU. The freeze and thaw cycles have been occurring on a daily basis in the city, so the potholes are getting HUGE. I'm talking 1 or 2-inch deep potholes every 300 feet.

I have found a W201 Benz 190D. It's a 5-speed manual, and it only has 113k on the clock. The bad news is it's been sitting for a while, since 2006. The body isn't in too great of condition, I haven't been able to get under the car but the body has tell tale signs of a car that has endured six years of sitting, like some surface rust and cracking paint. The guy who owns it is a Benz mechanic, and he claims that with a battery it will start up and run. He is asking $1500.

Is a good car to pick up? It would most likely become my daily driver, due to the fact it's diesel, and it's low miles, and it would get great fuel mileage.
