Gonna look for a m50 to turbo me thinks. More expensive initially, but will make waaaaaaay more power in the long run.

How? No offense, but a turbo 5.0 has more potential and is a LOT cheaper and more reliable. Out of the ~4 professionally build m50 turbo's locally, only 1 has ever run right. I would vote ls1 as well.

A stock ls1 with a bolt on, ~$1500 turbo kit will see 400hp without building the engine, or anything else.

If you have huge pockets, yes. They're a great engine, but they're a bmw engine so they're expensive.
