No, there are only a handful of e36s with s54s

not me, i think they are horribly overpriced for 333hp and 250ish tq at a million rpms.

Its a beautifully engineered engine but for the money you can do a lot more witha turbo e36 straight 6 and not have to worry about manual valve adjustments.

There's quite a few now, i haven't been to a shop in months that doesnt have one or has one in the works. a local shop to me called AJ autocraft found out where bimmerworld was getting their kits to use the factory dme for like half price so they are popping up a lot at least here in NY

You mean besides a 1j or 2jz?

1jz is a smidge heavier than a s54 and a 2jz is a smidge lighter, not to mention how nice everything lines up, its pretty much stock.

Problem with that is anything after 95 is a pain in the dick to get through emissions.
Has to be 0BD2 swap that functions or acts like it.

How hard is it to turn an auto into a manual, seems to be a shit load of autos out there.

yeah, dont buy a 318 and spend more than the most expensive m3 on the market just to reinforce it.

auto to manual is super straight forward, as easy as doing it on a 240. im gonna do it in july to the daily.
