Had a shop do it. Why? Because I couldn't secure a place to do it, and I didn't feel like paying the fine that would have come if I did it in the parking lot where I park my car. If I had somewhere to do it, I would have.

Yeah, if I had a full day to tackle it, and anything that may have gone wrong with it, I would have been fine to do it myself, but I couldn't make it happen.

For the record... when I owned the M3 I lived in a 3rd floor apartment with no parking off the street and the BMW was stored in a garage 20 minutes away.
