Here is my thinking.

Last year they claimed me as a dependent on Taxes even though I'm 23 to save them from having to pay like $2800 or some shit. I would have gotten back $1300 instead I only made like $5. To offset that they basically said I no longer have a car payment. (I bought the Kia off my dad so they saved me like $1400, pretty fair.)

So this year my idea is going to be, go ahead and claim me as a dependent, but buy me some $1k wheels and we'll be even.

Here's a thought if they give you shit
Tell them to make payments on your education that you would have made anyways.
And use that money to buy your own wheels.
