RT hive mind, I need suggestions.
Wheel choices for my Civic Si -- go.
Here were my thoughts:
- Work Emotion CR-Kai
- Work Emotion XT-7
- Enkei NT03+M
- Enkei PF01
- Volk TE-37
- Volk RE-30
Pic of car for reference. Not my car, but exactly the same (I shaved my vtec crap though):
I've started putting together a way to get my budget in line so I can get coilovers, wheels and tires before the next season starts. I'm looking for a completion date of March or April for this.
Coils: Stance GR+ (I have a sick hookup over at Stance USA)
Tires: Pilot SS or NT05 (Pilots probably for better treadwear rating)
Wheels: ???
In terms of sizes, I'm pretty much set on a reverse staggered fitment (FF for life, yo), 18 x 8.5 front, 18 x 7.5 rear. I don't give a shit how retarded anyone thinks it is. Offset I can get help with once I figure out the wheel.
The car above has the OEM wheels, which are 17".
No replicas. No fucking way.
Also, if colors factor in, I plan on getting a Championship White respray and a Candy Apple Red (maybe a bit deeper) paintjob on the wheels. Is Rosso Corsa too dark?Last edited by FluidMotorUnion; 08-12-2011, 11:10 AM.

Three pieces would be nice. RS'es would be nice, but I've seen quite a few on 8thCivic, and they look better on coupes that are an inch off the ground.
Plus I'm aiming for more Time Attack-style fitment. A bit more meatflush. I plan on having it look nice, but I desire function, too, as I like me some street-carving on occasion.
