The bushings goinggone usually make a clunk noise.

unless the guibo is shredded up it looks like every other guibo until you check where it bolts up

if the drive shaft was replaced twice any competent mechanic would have changed the guibo and support bearing also so id be weary

From my understanding the subframe clunks when shifting, and when there is a torque change under hard acceleration. Although it could be that, it wouldn't be something that only happens over 30 mph.

I could be wrong though, I need to hear from the guy so I can get a better understanding.

Yeah it sounds unrelated to the subframe mounts. Let's hope whoever did the driveshaft was an idiot and didnt change the guibo. guibo is an easy thing to check so if it's not that or something obvious Id walk away because it doesnt look that great in the pic.. M3 vents and front bumper or some sort of kit by the looks of it

Well, I take that back, but it would have to be a PERFECT E36, a 328, black or white (no exceptions), and be a 5 spd, with less than 150k miles. They are just hard to find like that. Also would have to be a sedan.

Well I know there's a place just off the bridge from James Island in Charleston SC that has a shit load of them, also Manny said there are a few nice ones in Orlando but yea that's a big road trip for a lil car.
