It was free and a good Indy BMW shop. I wanted to make sure there wasn't anything wrong with the car I couldn't see in my driveway. And they know a good bit more than I do... Didn't hurt. They showed me a few areas where problem could develop but it proved to me that the car is in great mechanical shape and I can start working on it sooner. Which is nice.

Because the car was 60 miles away, and from when I test drove and looked it over in the dude's tiny ass driveway, it looked fine, but I wanted to make sure there weren't any other things before I bought it. I didn't have access to a lift, and I'm not the most knowledgable when it comes to BMWs I knew what major issues to look for, but little things I had no idea.
