                  Hmm could be. It does seem like it's coming from more the rear of the car but I'm not really sure.. It does it a little bit in other gears sometimes but I dont feel any effect at all when I get past around 3k rpm

                        1st/2nd are the worst correct? And 1500-3000k it vibrates most? More so under load? Just cruising it should be nearly gone?


                        If so, more than likely is the Center Support Bearing, potentially a beginning to fail flex disk/guibo as well. That is the exact symptoms though man, very simple replacement too.

                            Assuming somewhere local has the parts, it is a 2-3 hour job max. Could have it knocked out by lunch time tom.

                                yea, since the vibration disappears, i agree. only way to find out is to get under there and inspect. if its the csb, might as well do the flex disk...
