ive never had to balance wheels like that tho.

all the ones ive done have been steelies or alloys with the spokes at the front so the weights go just behind them

from what i've seen, all wheels (regardless of how much lip they have on the face) have some lip behind the face.

they would take a fair bit of weights though wouldnt they? seeing as you cant get it close to the front of thr wheel?
