I put the wheels on and lowered the car and the car literally sat on the sidewalls, the tires pushing the fenders out a good 1/4 to 1/2 inch and popping my front and rear bumpers out. I think that raising the car is going to be necessary no matter what due to the fact that I don't have stiffer springs and the lips are sitting ~1/2 inch from the fenders...

SUCKS. My car weighs 2400 ish.

Mine is about 2800 ish.

My spring rates are 6 kg/mm front and 4 kg/mm rear. I think thats close to 300 lb/in front and 250 lb/in rear. Something like that.

lets just say it has 61/31 weight distribution
Plus 4 people in the car, at lets say 160lbs each on average. Thats 640lbs more
Then dont forget for max trunk capacity of 400
now the total weight is 3,945lbs (400lbs goes towards rear of the car)
now we need to support 2,182lbs in the rear and 1,762lbs in the front
Dont forget to compensate 100lbs for hard bumps on freeway.
The outcome is that to support weight of his car and prevent rim from hitting body of it we need 950lbs front springs and 1,150lbs rear springs.

I know that I am talking about worst case scenario, but still...
