Really predictable film.

We don't know if he is in a dream or not, even if the top fell, it wouldn't matter. Why? Because its not HIS totem, its Mal's, and as we find out very early in the film you can't use someone else's totem, otherwise it is rendered useless.

This film is anything but predictable, if you thought it was, you really didn't think about everything that has happened, and the little indications of things that are going on. Like Mal showing up in many cases even when she isn't a major part of the scene, something I didn't notice until Mike pointed it out to me. His wedding ring is also another indicator. There is a great deal of things that you simply cannot catch if you watch it once and shake it off. If you really pay attention to the movie, and the little details it really becomes quite intriguing. I have seen the movie 3 times now, and I still don't know what to say is really going on at the end.
