Let me get this right...



the lower bag mounts get welded to the shock housing right? Then the bag slips over the top of the shock (the narrow rod part) and the top mount bolts up much like the top spring perch right?

Thats how Im doing mine. On the E30, you need to section the fron strut housing anyway to get low. Thats why I have shortened struts to go in. and instead of mounting the oen spring perch on, Im just gonna weld the lower bag mount. however, the rears on mine are totally different. the rear springs are located on the rear subframe, not a conventional strut/spring setup. so i need to fab a bracket to mount them there

So since mine has 4 struts, Id have to buy four aftermarket shocks, de gas them, weld the mounts etc, and then re gas them hey...

yea pretty much. I think UAS can also build custom air struts if you send them your specs and struts.

I might have to email them for a price then..

I just need struts from them, I can get my own brass/airline/compressors/tanks.... then Ill just run accuair instead of individual solenoid valves..

yeah sweet.... Like I said, nowhere near the stage yet...

The rear end might end up getting a rediculous amount of work setup, if I decide to, its all up in the air at the moment though..

yea, i know what you mean. I was on the fence about air for a couple months. then i decided to just pull the trigger and figure it out as i go. I know nothing about air, so im still learning
