Will you be happy with the job you can get? If you will, do it. Its not like not finishing will remove the debt. And once you've built up the business and a steady income, the payments won't be bad. Depending on the loan, you get a 6mo grace period, and some loans are low enough interest its not a big deal.


Granted, i finished in a clean 4 years and actually found a solid job within my grace period which is not guaranteed with the curent economy, but it sounds like it might be for you.

I think going to college right out of HS is stupid. Everyone should take two years to work a few jobs, try and figure out what they enjoy, grow the fuck up and then go to college.

My wife went right out of HS. She did the two year community college out of pocket, transferred to State. IIRC when she graduated she only owed about 15k and that was without any help from anyone.

I finished up at a community college. Out of state tuition here is 10k a semester. And I got fucked with my classes transferring and would have to do 6 more semesters. And that'd be if I could get all the classes I need in order.
