R6 which I believe is the dry compound.

I think it will do the job, but then again there isn't any info on how they stretch. First time for everything, right? Gonna do a 235 on the front 11's, r6 also

Well they're both "dry" compounds. A6 is Autocross, R6 is a Roadcourse tire. A6's warm up faster but also burn up more quickly.

I dunno, I'm skeptical. All slicks have a stiff sidewall, especially R6's. A friend of mine races 3-series racecars and used to use R6's exclusively, and a 225/45R17 on an 8" wheel was dead square.

Ah nice, that's gonna look crazy.

Both are excellent. I would lean towards the Star Specs in terms of bang for your buck. If you're driving the car on the road, I would say skip the slicks. I've done it, and it is sketchy.

Both are good. Starspec's provide slightly better handling...slightly, but with RS3's you get the most out of your money.
