In other news, I'll finally be a proper, published automotive journalist in a month or so.

For those of you who don't know (which is probably all of you), I freelance for Total 911, writing their news/update section every month. When I was at Eurowerks, I found this gorgeous vintage 911, which is a tribute to the first 911 to win the Rally Monte Carlo:



I pitched the story to my editor, and she wants it. So Kris (the guy who runs Eurowerks) shot the car, and now I'm writing the story. It's gonna be a feature, and my name will be on it. Finally.

I know nobody cares, but I'm geeking out over this. It's one step closer to putting me toward my career goal of becoming a print automotive journalist.

The car's name is Tough Kraut. And this is a European magazine. Do they still get offended by that word over there, when being used to describe something German? That might make this a bit tougher.
