I've seen lately a few people list their location as Syria and wanted to see what the opinion was in regards to the current difficulties the country faces and hopefully get some truths about it directly from people living there.
How do you feel about what is going on and what is going on exactly?
Is it represented accurately in the world media outlets?
I have the opinion, conspiracies/media information aside, the events happening now are very much the same as in Iraq and Libya. No matter what these dictators have done there is a storyline which has similarities that are frightening. The outcome is also the same and still has not solved anything. I believe that war and foreign countries participation is not a way to solve any of these problems but this is the way things are going and no one will have immunity if WW3 comes to be. The people of the world should decide whether or not this should happen and should be listened to by our world leaders unlike past peace protests that have been ignored in full (such as [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ysva-csAg8A"]15 February 2003: The day the world said no to war - YouTube[/ame]).
