That's one of things I've been thinking about. I want to start over. New car. New project. And doing it right this time. I want to take the time to do a project right. No more half ass china shit. Please atleast try to understand I'm trying to improve. As I've seen, you can pick up a shitty dull set of BBS rims for 700. But with a little TLC, they can look brand new.

Also, I'd like to start on a car actually worth modding.
BMW is perfect. You will love it and the community that exists. Perfect fit.

tasteful mods add to value, shit even dealerships do this, adding aftermarket remote starts, overhead/headrest entertainment, Sirius/XM, adding a Nav to a car without one..or lets say the performance add ons, lexus has their Fsport stuff, you can add an intake to any is/gs car, better suspension, even body mods

    I can go on.

now Nigerian engineering some BS sound system, half assing a motor swap, blacking out all your lights with plastidip.....this kind of whack crap is the NO NO DOOKIE list.

I see where you're going. Good point. However, this is also to be down the road. Obviously if I don't have a job, and have no money, it will e a no brainer. But now I have a full time job with 30% pay increase. If I can manage to dig myself in and keep this steady job, I don't think I'll have the problem with the bimer. But as I said, it all depends on where I'm at down the road.

Could offer the aftermarket parts to the buyer too as options at some additional cost

See I thought about that. But I won't e able to sell til like January. So I could risk 8 months of possible parts damage. Or I could sell them now while still new and sell stock. If I wasn't in the situation I'm in, I'd do exactly what you said.

Thanks for the insight guys. I think I'm still going to do some paint touch up and shave the Wing off. From personal experience, people prefer it without a wing.

So while repainting the trunk, should I put the symbols BACK on? Or leve them off? Or does it matter?

like the guy above said, you would be able to sell the car much quicker and easier if its all bone stock... if the car is stock anyone would buy it, once people see mods on cars your average joe who just needs a car for transportation will shy away from it.

plus you can sell the coils/wheels/other parts on ebay or CL, people are always looking to buy parts.
