I'll do my best. And for the record, I don have a problem with criticism. But ball busting does get to me. All to often they go hand in hand so it makes me look like a closed minded child who knows nothing and can't take criticism.

Your problem lies with your attitude. You can't take criticism or ball busting, which is a fairly common thing amongst this community. A small jab turns into you going off like a child- telling regular/senior members "Shut the fuck up" and "you don't give a shit" is a one-way ticket to being a target for ridicule.

When you lose your temper and provide sarcastic replies, you appear childish. We are not all mindless nutswingers who post "great work 10/10 would fap again plz add updates".

Stop trying so hard to justify what you did. Take what someone does, and go "thanks for the input", or "maybe i'll try that someday". Stop fighting back and telling us we're wrong for all pointing out the same thing, just take it in stride and do your thing.

Heres the problem though, only 20% of the people are actually trying to help. To those who are giving good feedback, I always say thank you and take their suggestion into consideration. But there are others on here who are just downright beligerant. Theres no "answer" im looking for. I just want other opinions. But as I said up there ^ just because someone gives me a suffestion doesnt mean im obliged to take it to the grave. You have just as much right to give a suggestion as I do to not take the suggestion.

Absolutely, which is why you shouldn't take it so personally, and while yes a lot of the people in this thread are being dinguses, they have also tried to make valid points earlier in the thread. All I'm saying is don't try and justify so much, and you'll see that everyone takes to you better. Instead of trying to justify why they are wrong. I'm not saying that they're right and you're wrong here either. I'm just saying rather than doing all that, you could either ignore them or say "yup, I'll take it into consideration." and move on.

Edit: my bad I was asking for suggestions. But if I'm Not mistaken, that was in my build thread. Here, I am getting answers. But answers to questions I'm not asking. And as I said earlier, your suggestion is your opinion. Don expect me to take it to the grave. Things that I agree with, such as the tint tails, I listen. But i don't like every suggestion that comes through. Make sense at all?

First off, I asked if there were any flaws in my PLAN, not my car. Second, just because you give advice doesnt mean im obligated to take every ounce of it to the grave. You take everything so seriously.

OP, you need to very carefully think this whole thing over. A few things about an E9x 325i.
1. They're great, pretty reliable cars, they share a motor with a bunch of other BMWs so parts are easily available, and not extremely expensive.
2. They're not outrageously expensive to insure, but you'll probably see your insurance rates go up a bit. If you don't pay them, and your parents are cool with it then, by all means.
3. They're not that fun to drive, sure they're a BMW, and "the ultimate driving machine", but they're quite underpowered, and really don't offer much feel to the driver, when I drove my friends, I was really quite unimpressed, even in comparison to my 01 325i.
4. There are lots of other costs associated with BMWs that you may not think of. Tires, and gen maintenance parts are more expensive. Not a ton, but you will notice it after a few things go wrong and need to be tended to. I know I did coming from my Integra. Oil changes are much more expensive, and they can be finicky at times. That's just the nature of a BMW however.

I'm not saying don't get one, if you want one, go get it, by all means. Have fun, and enjoy the car. Modify what you want how you please, and remember at the end of the day that it's your own car not anyone else's. However if you post on a forum asking for opinions, you are going to get just that, opinions. Not everyone has the same one as you, and thusly you will have to accept that. Remember though, as long as YOU are happy, nothing else matters. Don't get upset at others though when you ask advice of them, and it's not what you want to do. If you already know what you want to do, just go ahead and do it, if you really are genuinely curious then ask the question.

I didn't come here to start anything, just impart a few words of wisdom that I have learned over my time here, and over my 2.5 years of owning BMWs.
