My family has owned a 2wd 4.6 F150 since new and we've never had that problem. I'd buy it from them if it was 4wd.

We had a 2001 lariot 2wd 4.6 that started smoking profusely at 65xxx miles. And it pulled a trailer like a raging turd. After owning my Titan and 7.3 powerstroke, I pretty much **** all other full size trucks lol

Wish I had the money for a Titan or Powerstroke. I'm seriously looking at not spending over 3k if I can help it. So mid 90s to early 00s Chevys and Fords are about it.
