I drove an AP2, and I have lightly driven in E36 M3s, but you guys bring up alot of good points.
I would LOVE an Mcoupe, but there are almost none for sale. Hell, I'f i'm looking at S2ks, I'll look at M-roady's as well.
Dr AK, you're correct. This will be my DD with the occasional autocross/track day/drift day every month of so.
I will also be a freshman in college next year, but i'm not sure if i'll be taking my car with me..

I'm 18 and a freshman in college, with that said I would go with the Bimmer! I refuse to drive anything else. Plus I'm 6 feet tall and 225 poundz, I dont feel very comfortable in an s2000.

Lets be real here...
For what you are going to do with the car the M3 makes more sense. Its a much easier car to learn how to drive on the track. Parts are always available. It has more room in it to take stuff to the track.
Its just the more practical car.
Honestly, I don't know how people drive those gutless wonders. It must be because it was Honda's best offering at the time.

e36 m3, if you can find a good one not beat to hell since they are older. It's more practical, has more torque, and has more room (to fit the bishes).
Altough I want an s2k badly, if I were to get one I would keep my e46 as a DD.- Jon -
stance will come one day..
