i know its sad how much we bitch here in america, but when you are constantly getting raped over gas prices, it gets to you.

and what i dont understand is its the same damn gas that was in the ground yesterday. how the FUX is it somehow more expensive today?
That's only you Cali folk, over here on the east coast if a gas station doesn't have 93 it's a problem.

Gas costs more over there for a bunch of reasons, taxes being the main one, and they also get higher octane, higher octane = more money.

If you can't understand why gas prices fluctuate day by day, then you should really pay more attention to the economy.

Been paying just under $4 for 93 lately... and sadly, have actually been happy about it.

As long as it's under $4 I can stomach it.

Well, i don't really mind... I only use my car for fun/hobby. Now if i would need a car everyday i probably couldn't afford it as a student.
On average i do 1 litre each 11 kilometres., something like 25 miles a gallon?

Prices are built up like this over here:
          32% Production Cost
          21% VAT
          42% Excise
          5% Margin

So 63% of the €1,88 we pay a litre goes straight to the government.

I don't look at gas prices... I just fill up, pay, and go.

So glad I am not driving for awhile. Not having a car has saved me tons so far

today was 4.70/gallon but i havnt paid for gas in a while. I only put 10 dollars in at a time, and with my daily driver, my room mate takes it to work sometimes, so he puts in more money then i need for gas.

                        3.59 for 93.
After reading what some of you all have to pay, I don't feel to bad.

Regardless of price, it's getting filled up either way.

little update, i was on my way back from the lady's house and stopped off to put some gas in at $4.93 for premium (91 Octane). At an ARCO station which is usually 0.10 cheaper than any other gas station. Literally threw a $20 at the cashier for a pack of smokes and told her the rest on #5. Sickening.
