Ok, I own many cars. One of them being a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 quad-cab short bed (the only car I put 87 Octane gas in). Needless to say this thing is as aerodynamic as an elephant with a parachute on it's back. And I just paid $4.63 per gallon for 87 Octane at an ARCO station. (Usually the cheapest gas stations in Southern California if you can pay cash.) This article made me wonder how much you are paying per gallon at your local pump station, and where you find the cheapest gas?

when i filled up the other day, was around $1.60 aus a litre for 98 octane. i dont look at the price these days, just fill it til it stops, walk in and pay.

Premium is around $4.39 a gallon here. I just find the cheapest spot, fill it to the neck, and pay without looking.

that blows my mind. i could never imagine paying that much for gas. at some point i would say fuck it, im buying a motorcycle.

i drove past that gas station again this morning and saw the price jumped up to 4.68 a gallon. and the news says crude oil is at its lowest point this year...

yeah we get the option of 87, 89 and 91. occaisonally you will find a 76 station that has the VIP fuel. i think its something like 93... i used to run avgas in my scooter. (dad has a buddy with a plane )

i know its sad how much we bitch here in america, but when you are constantly getting raped over gas prices, it gets to you.

and what i dont understand is its the same damn gas that was in the ground yesterday. how the FUX is it somehow more expensive today?
