The Tamiya S15, R32, R33, R34 really have my eye... I am probably going to do a S15 or R32 first. I like Tamiya bodies cause they are true to shape. Some of the other brands are more Aero and sleek, but aren't as good looking as I prefer.

    This is the S15.

I actually just bought a used team associated tc3 with a body, charger, etc etc for like 100 bucks. went to lowes and bought a small piece of black pvc piping that fit the wheels and glued them on LOL. cheaper than buying real drift tires. but i mess around with it every once in a while its fun as hell LOL

^ those are fun to mess around with, but they arent the best for actually doing competitive type drifts... You cant carry the speed and agility you'd really want. That's why the drift tires are a little pricey, but totally worth it. The Yokomo single ring tires are bomb.

        check this out

And yeah thats a sweet video. the first one i saw with the RC drifting was like a compilation with a finch song in it "letters to you" it was awesome but then i saw the price tags and it detered me. but this kinda just popped up so i splurged on something other that my real car LOL

I used to be huge into buggy and truggy racing. I am now gonna pick up a drift car soon. I just want something to fuck around with that is cheaper than a real car.

it's just not quite the same without 1/10 scale smoke.

hence why once I moved into a different house I fully plan on getting a Nitro RS4 drift. I just need it to be quiet right now because my father in law sleeps most of the day and is a very light sleeper.

I might still pick one up to take out to parking lots to rip around, I love having the smoke and sound.

google tamiya tt-01 there are about 3 of them with the AC Schnitzer M3 body for much cheaper. I am gonna pick up one from ebay after I get new tires for my real car. (if you could have negative depth treadwear I would have it, I was on wear bars 4000k ago)
