Being Low: An Outside Perspective

Luckily all my friends are into lowered cars too. It's my parents and grandparents that don't get it.

I think when I get coilovers I am going to throw my suspension plus a skidplate on my sisters (stock) E30. It won't look great but it will look better than the 4x4 it is now.

Ever since I put my coilovers on, I scrape everything (pa has the worst roads in the world). I can't even pull in my driveway without scraping 1/2 the lip off. My girlfriend hates it. I don't know why, I thought girls like it when you go low :dunno

^PA roads are bad. Michigan roads are worse.

My S-10 in high school was so low you couldn't put a pack of cigarettes under the frame. I drove it like that everywhere and absolutely loved it. The axle even sat on the frame for a while, that made for an interesting ride....

Every state has bad roads and good roads. It's impossible to say that one state's roads are 100% worse than anothers. Michigan is known for terrible roads as is NY, PA, etc. but you can see bad roads anywhere
