The two IPAs were fine, but nothing I would buy again. Prima Pils is a nice beer, but I perhaps prefer Trumer. Ruth is simply a fantastic beer.

Perfect place for this question. What's the consensus on Magic Hat? I'm thinking of picking up a sampler/variety pack but I want to know if it's going to be a complete waste or not.

I like wheat beers (Blue Moon, Sam Adams, etc) and beers like Land Shark/Corona... I've never had any stouts other than Guinness. That's just a little background on my flavor preferences I guess.

I don't know to be honest.I've been drinking it for 2 years. I try to keep stocked so I buy a case incase it's not there the next time I go to buy more. Out of all the liquor stores in my city, only one sells them. Cost me about $80 for 12 bottles.

.75l is pretty big bottle.
Also imo at 9% it doesnt taste like beer anymore.
I prefer wheat beers with ~ 4.5% alcohol.
