Im thinking of just getting a GPS unit like you have, not sure where to start though. Im also worried about weather proofing with one of those..

I just don't ride in the rain.

If you're going to get one, be sure you know how much space you're going to have in between your grip and your stem on the bars. Mine BARELY fits, and I had PWJDM tell me in advance what the clearance was. One solution is to go with the regular 205, not 205w widescreen.

Mount is $9 on eBay, just type in "Garmin 205w bicycle mount"

                • Yea. I found a cheap 205 locally, non widescreen. They make a waterproof mount for it i could try. My only concern is wiring it/ odometer

I don't really have an odometer lately, I just estimate my mileage and stay conservative on oil changes. I also just run it off the battery, so there aren't any wires.

I might rig up a bicycle computer (i.e. Cat Eye or similar) as my Odometer.

I've always wanted to mount a full-size Apex'i RSM on the stem, but I'm not sure that's achievable.

I would love to see that thing with a wide ass rear wheel and some low thread tires.
Ow and are you going to change the tail light?

Yeah, fatty is going to be my winter project. I'm focusing on the Cressida right now.

Over the winter, the bikes plans are: fatty, even lower in rear, chop front forks, and maybe a repaint.

Over the summer, I'll gradually do stuff like the boso pipe, gas tank cover, new lights, and a few other ideas I have.
