Webb and I were having some friendly competition and I figured I'd share with the board.

Impreza 22B - STOCK

Webb and I are down to 01:38.704

Beat it. You must provide proof too.

Shouldn't be too hard to beat, neither of us are pros. Just having some fun. I'm sure someone here will smash that down to 1:35

Im reminded of a story about Dale Earnhart I heard from a guy who used to race against him. He told me when ever Dale used to qualify he'd end up in the back of the pack cuz he just sucked at technical driving. Now the guy also taught me a little about car setup in nascar and obviously you wanted a car to stick like glue at triple digits. Dale set his up different. He said dale would always come around him (being in the 15th or so position) basically sliding the car around the turns at 150.

Nutshell? All it takes to breed a winner is a bit of compitition.

i think i can push it under 1:38 If i really try i can see couple mistakes there but not much.. (this is top 800 easy and others have C425 PI [Subaru is C366])

I remember Gran Turismo 3. My friend and I spent a full night trying to get around Laguna Seca in under 60 seconds in one of the F1 cars. We both did it. I think he was faster. 58 seconds or something.

In GT4 I did tsukuba in under 40 seconds with the toyota minolta race car '88. Think it was 0:39.8xx
Took me at least a few hours. Still have the picture I took to prove it

I can never save my money long enough to e able to afford the F1 cars in GT4

^^^I won the f1 car in some race...cant remember which one, I was pissed though cuz it was like ps2 livery instead of an actual known race team.
