I would go eney where no matter how far the trip is,my E30 it is so reliable thats why i have had it for 9 years now! ive lost count how many miles its done.

Drove to and from vegas March '08 - 4000 mile total round trip - NO PROBLEMS

Drove to and from Fontana Village, NC at the end of April '09 - 2160 mile round trip - NO PROBLEMS

Driving to PHX, and LA in January '10 - 4000 mile total round trip

Fo sho. Guys are getting 300k+ miles out of LS400's with only regular maintenence and small stuff here and there breaking (hood struts etc..). 1000 miles would be a walk in the park.
