Going off topic here, but why did an exclamation appear above my post about wrapping the seats in leather?

I'd say the IX for sure. I'd love one at some point in my life.

              Evo. Definitely Evo.

Unless you like dumping money into maintenance costs. Enjoy ripping off your entire front clip to get to the timing belt on the B7 A4.

as a previous evo owner- you should go with the evo
the aftermarket options are endless and cheap
nothing on the car will ever cost you more than 2-3k even if you pop the motor, blow the tranny, shatter the transfer case
Maintenance is frequent on these cars but they are the easiest car to work on I have ever touched.
You can make 500whp on a 4k budget
The IX is the last of the evo 4g63 and will always be a cult car and will always retain a great resale value

I have a B7 A4 and if you want a fast car go with the evo. If you want a nice classy chill daily comfortable car go with the audi. Youll spend thousands to get a couple hp with the B7 a4 while on the other hand the same money in the evo can have you close to 500whp

I wouldn't even question this matter.

evo- without a doubt- however be forewarned, all you will ever want to do is make you car go faster, handle better, etc. They are ugly to look at, sound like complete ass- but goddamn are they awesome.

It was my first car that I bought- bought it as a salvage- ended up with 525 awhp on e85

issues with evos- cost- because everyone wants one they are inflated- and the fact that no one owns an evo and doesnt beat the shit out of it. Under $20k no way unless your like me and plan on rebuilding the whole damn thing.

Having owned an Audi I can say they are awesome interior, great cars- except I had a b5 s4 which went through a transmission, clutch, flywheel, and set of turbos all in about 8 months - seriously fuck audis- doing all the work myself was fine its the cost of parts that kills you. IDK about b6/b7 but my b5 was hell

Dude Evo 9 MR is where it's at, compromise nothing in comparison to the audi.

Mr has the leather recaro's, still doesnt take care of the cheap feeling plastics in the car, but a little classy touch in there.

Evo9's have the mivec, and are absolutely beasts when it comes to responding to basic bolt on/breathing mods.

                            If I had my choice, it would be;

                            Wicked white
                            JDM Evo9 rear bumper
                            Dumped on coilovers
Kelford 272 Cams, 3" TBE, big FMIC, boost controller, tune, clutch, intake, and a tubular manifold.
Wingless (leave the vortex generators though)
                            Spoke wheels, Volk CE28n, Wedsport TC005, Work Emotion CR-Kai, RPF1, NT03+m etc
