The whole Ford phase of Jaguar ruined them, the X and S types worst. I am so glad they've binned all those models and gone for the XJ and XK only now.
Did they cut the XF then? Is there something you know being from the UK that I don't? I heard they were working on a compact to go against the 3 series. Looking forward to that.
My first JDM project after decades of European cars!

3 series competitor is coming very soon as well as a Z4 competitor, which I will predict to be drop dead gorgeous.
oh and the XF shooting brake is right around the corner. Jag wagon, what's not to love?
glanced at a few posts, and i have never even sat in a jag, let alone owned one. but my vote is to buy it. it's an older english car (so you KNOW there will be issues), but it's also an older english car, so you KNOW it was once the epitome of class.
then again, as a british citizen i am more than a bit biased.
Serious, if you're gona get a Jag go for 80s/90s. Nothing newer than like 2000 when they went to shit. My mates XJ40 is amazing, leather as far as you can see, pretty good engine only had to replace injectors so far. Spent £1300 on it too.

Tell us what you really think. It sounds like you may not appreciate an X-Type [/sarcam]
Honestly, I don't care and just buy stuff that isn't commonly modified. In fact, I like that people **** it, it adds to the fun.

Do not do it. They are horrid. As for new models, there is xk, xj, xf, and the f type specs will be released at the paris auto show. This is coming from someone that works at a jag dealer.
