if you're studying, evernote. definitely evernote, i dont use word anymore at Uni at all. I can sync all of my notes with my iphone also, so i can use it as a scanner... its amazing.

iWork instead of that microsoft bullshit. Office works fine (kind of) on windows PC's but always fucks up on macs. I prefer to use apple's pages to microsoft turd. Also it's a hell of a lot cheaper than office (if you're gonna buy it).

i used ms office on a mac at school, it seems to work good but my school requires iWork's and Ms office, so i have to shell out another 160 dollars for all that
