What's up SW,

I've been DJing in Florence, Italy for the past few months, and it's been a fucking amazing time!

I've decided, however, that it's time to step back from DJing and focus on my music production game more. I just put a little sample up on SoundCloud (links below), and I'd love some feedback from our massively diverse group here. Fair warning: it's progressive house music, so if you don't like the electronic stuff, don't worry about it. Oh, and you need to turn it up. Logic really brings the volume down when it exports tracks...

Also, if you guys could be so kind as to "Like" my facebook page, that'd be awesome too. Kinda in a little race with my other DJ buddy to see who can hit triple digit "Likes" first, so here's to hoping SW will bring me some more awesomeness!

i like it, i used to listen to heaps of trance and techno years ago, even happy hardcore (dj spree and mc adb) i think focusing on music production is a good idea, maybe even more layers and more things going on to help it build

I like that sample clip, but it seems like it needs something more

It builds up nicely... and then the drop disappoints. Then its over. Your DJ set is real good though.

Thanks for the feedback guys. The drop is deffo disappointing me more and more every time I listen to it. It's still a work-in-progress, so I'll be throwing more into it soon enough. There aren't too many tracks in there right now - only about 6 synths, so I'll be building it up with more soon.

Yup. Simple, but it works. I need to expand ASAP, but so far it's been getting the job done...
