I was at the airport at 3am this morning about to leave for tokyo, needless to say they stopped me and about 3 other people pretty quick. Depressing stuff to watch on T.V. Hopefully the can get those power plants under control.

I wish dude, they straight up sent shut me down, and sent me home, I would have went anwyway if it were up to me. but ya. I'm gonna have to reschedule for early May after spring term ends.. Thanks for looking out though!!!

nuclear reactor in fukushima might be melting down, telling everyone to evacuate. not gonna keep posting death/missing/injured numbers, they are only going to get higher and higher

I've talked to a few people over there (luckily they're ok!) and the biggest care right now and for awhile will be those nuclear plants... our thoughts and prayers (and our rescue money) go out to everyone over there dealing with this tragedy!

I thought the reactor was not leaking, it was just overheating..

although it was a bit scary that levels got above 1000x the normal readings.

My prayers go out to all affected by this. Im glad that everyone is stepping in to help, I wish I could do something to help.

Looks like its was just a regular explosion,
if you can call an explosion at a Nuc plant regular.

They also mentioned that the death toll may skyrocket due to all the small villages that are on the coast (got hit by the tsunami). On top of that they said that whole trains are missing, and they really pack those things to full capacity.
