They're saying it'll probably snow tonight too. Alot of areas are still without power and have been instructed not to use gas or kerosene heaters in case of fire spreading in an aftershock
They also interviewed some guy to who said it took him 6hrs to drive 2pm home after the quake coz the traffic was so bad

The quake didn't do much damage an they immediately had tsunami warnings but there'll still be plenty of deaths. The tsunami has affected huge areas, whole towns have been destroyed. It's scary sitting here watching the news, I'm glad I'm not near the coast.
I wish my Japanese was better so I could volunteer to help in some way

The water pretty much came out of nowhere... Its not like hollywood makes out, where this huge wave thats 40 stories tall will come and effe shit up... but god damn does it effe shit up!

I hope this is the case... As I was saying to Loz, Christchurch has a 5. something quake and the whole city is in ruins, japan has this and most buildings aren't even phased. True engineereing over there, then again they are used to getting quakes I guess...
