magoo I agree 100% i mean the hipster thing is whatever i wont even begin to lie i got into it like 3 years ago after i saw a super hipster on a trackstar and i was obsesssedddd but now i just have the passion to ride of that road feel and connection.

and ho4sho your white bike is a 722 the 725 has the fat seat tube with the cutout.

Phas3d id go Mordecai dude... if you ride bmx and plan on tricking at all the Mordecai is wayyyyy better. The geo kicks ass the geo on the 722's or 725's is super trackk geo and not at all good for anything but riding lol

Honestly if i were you id check out the Volume Thrasher its the same price and The build quality on them is insaneeee and they're guaranteed. Plus there geo is spot fucking on lol

I was planning on getting a 725 but then changed my mind. I love the pista style wayyy more. I have a freestyle fixed right now and I really want to build a track bike... so thats what im going to do.

I mean I have a shitty old frame right now that I used for tricking... and a fu man chu fork that is not going to break anytime soon. And lately I've been doing a lottttt of flat ground riding so I figure if I want to trick I can just switch all my shit over, if I want to ride i'll have the 722. I just got done building my friends Thrasher. its nasty as fuck.

I still don't get it. Not trying to be rude or shit on the thread, just saying I still don't get it.

i'm running a malvern star powdercoated british racing green with track bars and no brakes at the moment

Because it has brakes to stop in a hurry, gears so I can pedal up hills, and fat ass tires so I don't have to worry about knocking a wheel out of true over every crack in the road. Maybe I'm a worrier. I rode my old roomate's fixed gear bicycle and it just seemed like more of a pain in the ass to ride than it was worth. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

The bike I have with me is a single speed beach cruiser with coaster brakes and a 66cc engine on it. The mountain bike is in storage ATM.

I think i'll build one this summer. I have tons of old 80's road bikes sitting in the shed.

Exactly.... you arn't comfortable with your riding skills. I ride breakless and have a 44/19 ratio, which is fckn retarded. I never have once been in a situation where I didnt know what to do or how to handle it, its extremely easy to ride a fixed gear once you get used to it. Its the same thing as every other bike, its just that hipsters have given them a bad name so they are easy to talk shit about...

I'm fully confident in my ability, it's other people's ability to drive cars that scares me. I ride in town traffic often (downtown Pittsburgh in the summer). Then I can just go off-road on the weekends and still use the same bike. Dunno. Just works better for me.

                              Brakes > no brakes.

Also, today I saw a guy riding a unicycle. Way more badass than a two wheeled fixie.
