this, and parking spots here are a lot narrower compared to the states. ppl on base cant park for shit, always crooked or too far to 1 side. ive gotten pretty good at parking backwards now

My mom actually got a notice on her car for having her car backed into the driveway one night. We live in a gated townhouse area with security and apparently you're not allowed to do that? I back my car into my garage and the same when its in the driveway and they've never given me any problems haha

funny because in ny it is illegal to back out of a driveway onto a road so you are suppose to back into your driveway.

And NO. People acting like a douche in a cool car are just as big of douches as guys in lame cars, if not more. I park backwards for the same reason as stated before, as not to destroy my front bumper and my rear is way higher. i turn my music down at traffic lights as not to seem like a toolbag.

It's illegal in a lot of places around here to back into a parking space if it is public parking.

I rarely back in, but I usually park in a pull-through spot, so it's essentially the same thing.

I don't know about getting away with more stuff though. I get pulled over a lot in the E36 because it is loud and "flashy". It attracts attention from cops and not the good kind.

Rusty, however, gets attention from police, but they usually just laugh or smile. I've never gotten a ticket in rusty, and I've been pulled over many many times to be told my tail lights do not work, or that it's loud, or I was driving too fast.
