Got pulled over twice here, and my plate was clearly visible in my front window. In TX it's required on the bumper.

In Estonia, i think i will get a ticket in like 5 minutes.
Here we get tickets even for CRACKED blinker lens. Or like 1 out of 2 rear reg plate lights doesn't work.
Yep.
I've also been pulled over for having NO plates on our tourbus/van. Cops yanked the plates because my friend who owned the car hadn't paid the vehicle tax. 10 minute drive home from the place where they took the plates, and I got pulled over again by another patrol. Explained what had happened and the cops laughed and went on their way.

I had a mustang for a year and got pulled over at least 25 times for no front plate but would always get a warning. I have had my Audi since October of last year and haven't been pulled over once even with my front end looking like this! I don't understand it?
Here is a pic of the mustang.
I would think that a cop would pull over a car with a huge front mount and no plate rather than a plain looking mustang?Last edited by dumpedb5; 06-21-2011, 02:58 AM.

Most cops dont know that much about cars. To them they see a car that a potential speeder/younger person would drive in the Mustang, and an older person's luxury car in the Audi. It's all profiling.| 92 Corolla AE92 | HKS SMF, Testpipe, Hyperco/Tokico/GC | Houston, TX | 86Garage |

In Ontario you are required to have a front plate by law.
My car started to run to warm so i took the plate off to give more air flow. The problem was later traced to one of the rad fans being disconnected. It's been a month and I'm never putting that plate back on.
Besides it took my dad 5 years on commuting in downtown Ottawa daily for him to get a $20 ticket.
I'm never putting mine back on.Last edited by Alexander; 07-18-2011, 12:43 PM.

I can't even imagine if i would be rolling around without licence plate.
My Lada's windshield was cracked. Cops told: "if i see u rolling around like this for 1 fkkkin time, u will get 200€ of fine"
So i had to get a new windshield, for 15€
Cheap ain't badass, badass ain't cheap.
