  • No front plate. Have you been pulled over?

So today I got pulled over for no front plate on my car. I bulled it out of the back seat and said I just havent gotten to mounting it yet, he told me to do it ASAP and let me go.

Little does he know, I will forever be attempting to get to mounting my front plate.

havent run a front plate on any of my cars in 9 years. had a cop walk over to my parked car last week, and ask me where my front plate was. i told him "officer i have a back plate", he laughed and walked away. hit or miss really when it comes to this stuff

I got a $50 ticket in sea side NJ for my plate "not being centered on my vehicle." I refuse to drill holes in my bumper to an unnecessary plate

Yes, twice. $107 each time. Shaved front bumper.

Also pulled over several times while on temporary insurance (no plates) however my things were in order each time and I did not have any problems.

"Also, where is your front plate?"
"Sir, I just went to a auto show last night, and I forgot to put it back on. Would you like me to put it back on now?"
"No, it's fine, just do it when you get home."

Maybe I'll be able to get away with this when I get CO's and new wheels.

                            I did this:

Displayed on the front of the car, but can be very easily "removed" whenever. Just ziptied to the sun visor. Ran it for a couple months before the car went into storage and never had an issue *knock on wood*

you could tell him that you think it looks bad. Seriously. No self respecting man would admit to a front plate looking good. As long as you ask "would you like me to put it on now?" you'll be fine.

My euro plate is held on by that super heavy duty velco, and i jsut have zip ties on my plate. If I want to put it on, I simply slip it over the euro plate.
